Never Not Working: Short Films on Labor from True/False

Closing out the summer right before Labor Day, DCTV & Filmwax are doing it with a bang, bringing the great True/False Film Festival from Columbia, MO to New York, NY.

Culled from a decade's worth of their programming, these award-winning short films depict stories of labor as an inevitable part of our lives, whether enjoyable and fulfilling, difficult and necessary, and/or both.

Kicking off the event, we'll be carried away by Mountain Animation's acoustic renderings. Following the screening, we'll be joined by True/False Co-Founder Paul Sturtz, Programmer Karen Cirillo, and award-winning filmmakers Yoni Brook and Musa Syeed.

Then stick around to share a drink, meet the panelists, and bask in the glow that is True/False.
