Wild Style [A Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival Event]
Celebrating almost 30 years since it's first release, Charlie Ahearn's film about b-boys, graffiti and MCing is often referred to as "Hip-Hop's First Motion Picture." The film is being paired up with and will follow a screening of BIG FUN IN THE BIG CITY.
This landmark film features seminal figures of the era engaging in the various elements of Hip-Hop culture, including Fab Five Freddy, The Cold Crush Brothers, Rock Steady Crew, Lady Pink, Lee Quinones, Grandmaster Flash, Grandmaster Caz and many more! Read more here.

On Tuesday, July 10th, Filmwax will be a co-presenter at the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival and will feature screenings of Wild Style (1983) and Big Fun in The Big Town (1986) at the Brooklyn Central Library Dweck Auditorium at Grand Army Plaza.
